Where Dreams Are Made
A non-profit organization for Youth
Where Dreams Are Made is a 501 (c) 3 organization that is committed to excellence, with a clear vision and a passion for delivering outstanding results. We take pride in helping our youth help themselves.

Unlike many organizations who focus more on elementary ages, our primary focus is on the youth between the critical ages of 16 thru 25. Our work seeks to build focus on economic development through job readiness training, social skills and entrepreneurial opportunities.

Since founded in 2008; 92% have earned high school diplomas, 98% that have completed our programs are employed or focused solely on school, and 15 have started attending college since 2012.
TANEKA HILL is the founder and CEO of Where Dreams Are Made - an organization for at-risk youth in Atlanta, GA. The organization provides training, jobs and a second chance at life for youth to make critical decisions that impact them both educationally and their future professional lives.
Mrs. Hill's experience working for large corporations, government agencies, and law firms for the past 20 years have made her very knowledgeable in many different areas, but it wasn't until engaging with the youth within her community, and the surrounding areas that impacted her life in a way that changed her forever. Their stories gave her an in-depth understanding of how many young people end up on such a destructive path and compelled her to find a solution to the hopelessness she saw in the lives of the forgotten youth.

Mrs. Hill's mission is to focus on the needs of our youth, and to build stronger generations of wealth for them and their families, by giving young people hope, economic opportunities and training in a supportive environment where they can grow emotionally, physically and spiritually.

Mrs. Hill has received several awards and recognition for her work with Where Dreams Are Made: 2013, 2012, 2010, 2009, Wells Fargo Community Day of Giving Grant, 2010 George H.W. Bush Daily Point of Light Award, honoring individuals creating meaningful change in their communities, & recognition from former Governor of Georgia, Sonny Perdue and a host of parents/participants.
